Basic verbs in Arabic language with Egyptian dialect

I guess for every one who's learning Arabic.It's very important to know the most common verbs

and here some of them

to walk                مشى - يمشي                masha - yamshi                      mashe- yamshi

 

to bring                أحضر – يحضر            ahdara – yuhdiru                    gaab – yigiib (جاب – يجيب)

 

to understand           فهم – يفهم               fahima – yafhamu                      faham – yifham

 

to think(about s.t)    فكّر – يفكّر               fakkara - yufakkiru                     fakkar – yifakkar

 

to think (that)          ظنّ – يظنّ              Zanna – yaZunnu               fakkar – yifakkar (فكّر – يفكّر)

 

 

Here some of famous Egyptain Expressions:

 

  Haaga ġariiba // How strange!                         حاجه غريبه

  3ala fikra // By the way, incidentally                  على فكرة

  zayy il-hiSaan //Used to describe someone who is strong and active,llike a horse.  زي الحصان

  ihtirim nafsak//Behave yourself                         احترم نفسك

  tawwal baalak// Be patient                                طوول باللك

   ruuhi til3et//I'm fed up                                   روحي طلعت
