Offer Chinese teaching for INTENSIVE language exchange (Chinese - German)

Hi everyone.

So I am a German language learner who is currently in A1 level. I would like to find a language partner here and have an INTENSIVE language exchange.

About myself

I was a Chinese teacher and I have Chinese teaching certificate. I taught kids Chinese in a primary school. Also I have done language exchange with my language partners (from Germany, Austria and Australia) for over 2 years. I would like to find A new language partner now for my German learning because recently my German friends have exams and they don't have much time for INTENSIVE language exchange. I will have an German exam in March so I would like to brush up my German by doing INTENSIVE language exchange.

What I can offer in language exchange:

For beginners, if you just have only basic knowledge of Chinese, I can offer Chinese teacher with a book I have for beginning Chinese learning.

For Chinese language learners who are in upper level, I would like to focus on improving your speaking skill by during conversations.

If you have any requests, you are welcome to let me know and I will see if I can do it for you.

What I want in language exchange:

I want to improve my speaking skill. I would like to learn some corrections/new words/expressions/new phrases during the conversations.

Time of language exchange:

Since I want intensive language exchange, I would like that we can do it at least twice a week. maybe 1 hour for Chinese and 1 hour for German. We can schedule times for our learning.

You are welcome to message me if you think that you are interested in this language exchange also if you are able to do it. Thank you.

P.S: Before I post this post, I have got several language exchanges requests from others members here. Well, I would like to have language exchange partners. BUT, if you are not serious about it and you vanish when we are about to get serious about it. Please do not write me. It seems rude to say it but I just don't want to waste both of our time. Thanks for your understanding.

Hello Phil and Philippe. Actually being a tutor here has been under my consideration. But due to my current study and work, I am not really ready for it yet. Also I have been learning German with a teacher here and it's good. I just want more speaking exercise besides learning from the classes. Anyway, thank you for both of your advice.

I agree with Phil. I've got a language partner French/German, but it took me a long time to find someone reliable but it's not enough . So I teach French and pay for German lesson. Plus, I found a really good teacher. Bonne chance.

From what you’ve written, I’d say you might be better off if you were to consider applying as a professional Chinese teacher (Mandarin and Cantonese) here on italki, so you could use the extra ITC to book additional lessons with a German teacher or tutor.
