A friend of mine got rid of his car last summer, and didn't renew his public transport monthly pass. The results have been amazing! :D

I confess I am on a diet!  There is a big dieting organisation in the UK called "Slimming World".  The emphasis is on healthy cooking so if you don't like home cooking, then it probably won't work for you.  There are no limits on fruit, vegetables, fish and lean meat.  Sinful foods are allocated a points value and you are advised not to consume more than 15 points a day.

I've cut out most cooking oil (I just use spray oil), fried eggs (now poached), cereals (too much sugar), fruit juice (too much sugar), full-fat yoghurt and dairy items. I've cut down on alcohol and sugary things.  So far, I've lost two stone and a bit (15 kg) but I need to lose another 10 kg to be in the healthy weight range. It's getting harder to lose weight now.

I've spilled the beans so what about you?!

@Michael Chambers
Congratulations on the success so far . I know a few people who have done slimming world and the results are very impressive that's for sure . My brother lost a lot of weight and he said it was down to a few things
1 - Keeping active
2 - Calorie counting
3 - Portion control
