Does this sentence sound right to you? I would wear my mom's clothes, unless I had my own clothes. I would change it into 'I wouldn't wear my mom's clothes, unless I had my own ones.' But how does this sentence sound to native speakers? Thank you in advance!

It sounds like the sentence is describing a desperate situation.

Here are some grammatically correct options. Pay attention to negatives.

I would wear my mom's clothes if I didn't have my own/if I didn't have any.

I wouldn't wear my mom's clothes unless I didn't have my own/unless I had no other option.

I'd probably say something like:

I wouldn't wear my Mum's clothes - unless I didn't have any of my own!

It might be more natural to say: 

There's no way I would wear my Mum's clothes - unless I had nothing else to wear, of course!
