the verb "ask"

It is so difficult for me to use the verb "ASK" in various ways.

Today, I wanted to ask my friend a question but I changed my mind to ask her that question tomorrow.

Can I say like this?

" No worries, I will ask you later "

After saying it, I noticed that when I say "ASK SOMEONE" without a noun after it, it could contain some negative and different meanings.

Is it wrong to say like this?

This is all perfectly fine. Also, there are no negative meanings I can think of with your example of 'ask someone'.
