The best thing is to get a professional teacher who is a native speaker of the language you are trying to learn, as they have the skills and knowledge needed to help you get better. I am new too. I would suggest finding a professional teacher and taking a few lessons. I have only taken one lesson so far after trying to learn on my own, and I feel that it helped tremendously.
