Hi!
I have started to learn German a while ago and one of the reason for doing this is because I want to work as an engineer in Germany. And for that I need to know German. I have reached a level where I stopped learning, not because I don't want to but because the method that I am using is not efficient for the next level. At the moment I might say I am at A2 maybe a B1 in reading. What I want from you is some new methods, how do you learn, from what books, how are you doing it. I know that a speaking partner would be great, but I can't find it.
Thank you!
I don't know why but it is indeed difficult to find an enthusiastic speaking partner. Maybe because I have only a short time window at my disposal. Who knows...
I read a lot in my target language, watch movies (if possible) in English and try to write more often in English. Even when I'm reading in my native language I ask myself if knew the word/phrase in my target language. Furthermore, I podcast short episodes in my target language. That way I get my motivation.
I never did this before. But now I read out loud more often.
