Finding notebook entries written by your friends I would like to be able to find notebook entries written by my iTalki friends quickly.  There used to be a way to do this, but I have either forgotten how, or perhaps they have removed/changed it.  Does anyone know how? I have too many friends to go through each of them trying to find new submissions.

Yes, Dan I'm afraid that they removed this feature "social updates" from the

new website!

You still can check your friends' notebook entries, by switching to the

classic version from the drop down list under your photo in the left part

on your profile. Or just login to italki from its old site: classic.italki.com

You still have 10 days until they close the old website, so use them wisely :')

Good luck.

I'm with you Dan! I used to be able to exchange corrections with people and we would motivate each other to write every day. A lot of the upgrades feel like downgrades.

I had written them feedback when the new site was being tested that I missed this feature.  They told me that it would be added back at some point.  They never specified when, but I  had the impression that it was in fact something that they planned to do. Maybe if more people report feedback wishing for the return of this feature, they will get on it more quickly.  Just an idea.

This is the one feature I miss the most (other than the speed). It was great because I was able to help language partners on a regular basis by looking through my feed.  Without, it is difficult and  I cannot possibly skype with each and every person, so it has limited my interaction with them.  Perhaps if enough of us complain about it, they might reinstate it?

That is very unfortunate.  I am not sure what purpose adding someone as a friend has anymore.
