Another way to say "There was not much traffic."

If I want to use an adjective to keep the meaning of "There was not much traffic", can I say "The traffic at that time was rather scarce"? "reduced"? "low"?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best regards,

"There was barely any traffic" would also work.

I might say the traffic was light.

You CAN say "The traffic was rather scarce" but it is not something that many people would say. Most people would simply say "There wasn't (was+not) much traffic."
