My question is : why do the words "konnichiwa" and "dewa" end with "ha" and not "wa" when they r written in hiragana.

では Is combination of 2 particles で And は。 The particle は Is pronounced Wa Not Ha

Its just the way it is.

Some people actually write Konnichiwa こんにちわ Instead of こんにちは In particular younger people.

It all has to do with particles..

I'm sure there is something on iTalki that talks about it.. but here is a really high level overiew..
