I'm a beginner, so please bear with me.

Are both sentences correct? Why is the first sentence wrong? My friend told me it was wrong but she couldnt explain well.

Hello, sorry for late reply. Yes, you're right!

Hello thanks for the answer. I think I understand. It seems like it talks about where you think your origin is. If I consider my friend's house as my home, then I can use While いきます is used if I go somewhere else (not to my origin). I hope this is clear.

Hello! Although it's difficult to explain it but I think,

「私の家へ行きます」 is not wrong but not natural. We Japanese usually say 「私の家へ帰ります」.

「友達の家へ行きます」 is correct but 「友達の家へ帰ります」is not correct.

However, if I have stayed in my friend's house for more than a few days, I probably can say 「
