i'm a musician but really is hard answer this kind of questions...

i think music have nothing to do with the human languages..

music have cerimonial reason...

it's a ritual...

the connection is over the words...

 in the deeply meaning of rituals in a society...

(sacred meaning... like the artificial reproduction of a common universal mitology... )

the part of mind you use when you speak is silence when you play an istrument..

for what i can feel...the world is not moving in the same time in your mind...

it's another space... with other physycal rules...

i think most important thing is the mentality of a culture not the language itself...

that is simply a consequences...

probably you change the language in a more musical way for the reason there is this mentality or not...

big different is the origin...

some language have origin in a sort of cult of the beaty...

beaty is not something you can live in a hurry... in a obsessive time... in capitalism for example.. 

it's need take it easy style..

short pass...

long breath...

and lives passed study useless things (in a factory)... for example...
