Yes, absolutely!

Which would you rather spend two hours doing:

1. listening to music, and looking up the lyrics to find out what they mean, before writing a diary entry about them

or

2. listening to the news, and reading an article from a test, before writing an essay about them?

I think if you're interested in the material you're studying, it really lets you study better - and study more, without feeling tired.

If you're interested, I have time available, and I can help you find some music or books that would really stimulate your imagination!  Please check out my profile, and sign up for a trial lesson where we can talk about what you're interested in.

Not really. Watching TED talks is better.

Yes I use songs in my lessons because they help pronunciation and vocabulary and listening to songs is a really good way to learn a language.
