If I were receiving a gift from Brazil, I would prefer to receive something uniquely Brazilian. For example, some small handcraft, figurine, piece of jewelry, wall hanging, etc, that is of a style native to the country. I am completely unaware of the culture of Brazil so I can not say what it would be, but I would love the surprise of that.

When I went to my exchange in January(but I went to Canada), I bought some brasillian food(BIS, paçoca, bala de doce de leite, pé de moleque, etc), and a brasillian perfume.
