Hello! I'm Carrie. I've been studying Japanese for 5 years, but I'm still bad at it. I don't really have many opportunities to practice. So, I found a group that was for practicing Japanese and english, but it's from a year ago, so I'm not sure if it's still active.
So, I'm making a new group for japanese and english speakers to practice one another's language.

Carrieさん、正直に言いますと、スカイプでの練習会はクラブ活動なら楽しそうですが、勉強するためにあまり役に立たないと思います。スカイプの練習会に参加する代わりにitalkiで見つけるネイティブスピーカーとマンツーマンのランゲージエクスチェンジの方が勉強になると思います。
日本語の勉強会のグループを作成してもみんなは能力、モチヴェーション、勉強のしかたが違いましたら効率てきに勉強できるわけがないと思います。
To be frank, the Skype study group sounds like a fun club to join, but I don't think it would be very useful for studying. I think that it would be more beneficial to study by doing one-on-one language exchange with native speakers instead of participating in such a study group.
Even if you make the Skype study group, it is difficult to imagine that people with different proficiency levels, motivations, and study styles can study together effectively.

Why are you learning Japanese: The reason I am learning Japanese is because my hole life i've done things from japan, the games I played watched anime, so slowly I started looking into the country and it was really cool and had a unique culture, also the language is really cool it'd be fun to know!
Level: I know Hiragana Katakana about 200-300 kanji a bit of grammar and learning a lot of words everyday.
