book recommendations?
I'm looking for good books to read. Any recommendations? I'm really into essay collections, novels, books that are entertaining and books that make you put things in perspective. I prefer reading these kinds of books but if you know any other books that are great then please comment :) thanks!

If you haven't already, read "The Cat's Cradle" by Kurt Vonnegut. It's always the first book that comes to mind when someone asks me for a recommendation

I am a big fan of Haruki Murakami - his books definetely will help you to see the world from the different point of view. I started from "Norwegian Wood" which I absolutely loved but as you looking for perspective I would recommend to start with "A wild sheep chase" or "Kafka on the shore". Have a good reading!
