Monday again. Well, I was quite tired today, I felt sleepy all day and sooooo tired. When I was having selfstudy lessons at night, I had to wipe some essential balm to keep myself awake. It used to work, but it didn't this time, so I stood up in case of falling asleep. OMG, it was uncomfortable for me, what should I do.
First, you should adjust your study plan. The more you sleep, the better you study.
Second, for days like this, when you feel really sleepy, drink lots of water and try to take a five minute walk outside. If you can, eat some fruit. Coffee is good in the morning, but it will make you jittery towards the end of the day.
Truth is that fruits are effective, but not immediately. Unfortunately, calorie rich junk food is more effective. For example a ham-cheese pie or a slice of pizza. Some people prefer sweet foods, like donuts, but on sleepy days I think they make me more tired and light-headed.
The most important thing, though, is to change your sleep habits.
Seriously: you should consider the possibility that you are simply not getting enough sleep, and you should figure out how you can make adjustments in your life so that you can get more. Like all life adjustments this is easy to say and hard to do.
Some people are so used to being sleep-deprived they don't even realize it. They are used to feeling that way. They think it is normal.
Not getting enough sleep is unhealthy.
