Sad state of affairs.

I would love to see the statistics related to the number of users over the next few months.

Of course, I hope membership or frequency of use isn't adversely affected, but I do have some concerns.

Learner SC, I also tried to open classic italki in the morning, suddenly I remembered that today is 17 august.

Mumtaz, I was not able to add even a word to your comment. To cut it short we will miss very badly.

Yeah i'm none too happy either. The italki keyboard seems to not be present in this version (which is a real pain) coupled with the fact it takes so long to load this "improved" version, i hope they roll the old one back into service or heavily update this one to run with the simplicity of it's predecessor. Glad to see i'm not alone in my dislike for this version we're now forced to use it.

Sorry if that was more of a rant than a constructive criticism. Not to excuse myself but i've spent the better part of the day trying to figure out this new layout and looking for the in-site keyboard so i can type in Japanese.
