How can I speak english fluently? I have been almost all the life learning english (at the school, highschool), but I'm still not able to speak fluently. I think is beacuse the teachers only teach us grammar and vocabulary.

Learning to speak is very different from learning grammar, it involves specific mouth exercises, pitch and tone and copying how other people speak. I am always very surprised that some people and even some teachers think it happens "naturally". It needs work.

I talk a lot about it in my video blog: you can also try the shadow method which is designed to help. You can find more information on my blog about that too.

As a matter of fact, grammar and vocabulary are the very basises to learn a new language. So don't panic, we all have to go through this lol.

Of course you need to learn grammar and vocabulary- but in order to speak you have to PRACTISE! Can you learn how to drive a car by taking a book out of the library and reading it? NO, you have to get in the car and drive on the road, and make mistakes, and learn from them. In the same way learning to speak a language takes practice.

Try to find some language partners to practice with a couple of times a week.  This will help build your confidence and fluency.
