Dan: assembly language - that really sounds difficult to me. It depends of course on how complicated the code you wrote with it was.

I remember writing one of my first little programs in Visual Basic many years ago.
I made a little circle filled with circular stripes in different colours. The circle moved from one side of the screen to the other while it was blinking. I felt very proud of myself and enthusiastically asked my girlfriend at the time to come and see. She was totally unimpressed with my little creation.

There are a lot of programming languages. I've programmed in MAD, FORTRAN, SNOBOL, APL, Focal, Forth, Pascal, several varieties of Basic, Smalltalk, C (several varieties), C++, M, C#, PHP, REALBasic (now called Xojo), and in assembly language for the Digital PDP-1, PDP-8, PDP-12, PDP-11, for the LINC, for the MOS Technology 6502, Motorola 68000, and a few others.

Yes, I have learned and used several programming languages.
First one was Visual Basic, then Java and later Lisp and Java Script. Now I mostly program with a language called Processing which is a kind of simplified Java environment for working with visual programming.

Sudeep, ah, I would ask you for a few pick-up lines on C++....
...but I know, the poor suitor would have to cover two bed-sheets with headers and declarartions to get it working:-E

(silly comment, i know... but have no idea what thoughtful to write here:))
