I am absolutely the biggest fan of Haruki Murakami! I love the way he writes. Obviuosly I haven't read it in Japanese but I can say that after trying Spanish, English and Polish translations, all the translators did an amazing good job so I can easily admire his art. Try it! Beautiful, new world to see form the very interesting point of view.

Though I've heard that Murakimi himself isn't popular in Japan. In my opinion, Japanese literature is one of the most interesting so I'm not surprised it is difficult to be popular in such a full of amazing books country. I hope one day I can read his books without translation :) and other Japanese writers as well, maybe there is somebody even better than him but unfortunately I don't know them. Yet ;)

Crazy little me is reading, or listening (audiobook), as a matter fact, to Christina Laurens "Dirty Rowdy Thing" and I enjoy it pretty much. I know this is completely different from the other books names in this thread, but I thought variety could be interesting as well :) Before this I heard a few episodes of A Shade of Vampire and Crossfire Series. Yes, I am into romance and stuff :)
