Hi Alexia! My name is Patty, I'm a 19 year old university student. I just started learning French (autodidact) by using the app "Memrise" (basically I'm still clueless). Would you mind recommending me any books or websites to learn French?
Merci! :)
In my opinion, you should listen to things you are interested in.This is my number 1 rule.I listen to podcasts on a daily basis as well and I can't imagine myself listening to something I'm not interested in.Usually when you listen to something that's boring you end up doing other things like checking your phone, browsing online etc.
There's a podcast named This American life. It's one of the most popular podcasts in the US, plus there's a transcript of each episode on their site, which is really helpful to English learners.
Other than that,I listen to sports podcasts, comedy podcast, tech podcasts so I'm not sure if you like them.
I'm looking for people to speak English with as well,so we can chat someday.
