The difference between "sans doute" and "sans aucun doute" was particularly hard to get for me when I started speaking French in France!

It was difficult to understand for me why you need to add aucun, nul or le moindre to state that there's really no doubt, because when you only say "sans doute" (no doubt), it actually means that there is some doubt remaining. I still find it funny.

Tu avais toujours les plus belles chaussures (We used to always have the most beautiful shoes).

Should be: You used to...
