Hungarian grandparents pre-Trianon. During my 7 year journey dealing with the Slovak MOI (pain in the butt) and then the wonderful dealings with the Hungarian MOI, I am proud to be a Hungarian citizen. I studied the language full-time for 3 months and went from zero to a B1 level. Know how to hack the language and be passionate about the beauty of language learning and using those muscles in your brain to think a new way and look ahead with a goal of learning a very difficult language to become a Hungarian.
