I do believe there are certain groups of people who have their special talents in a specific branch to develop their career. I often watched talent shows on TV where a few marvels showed their talents that literally stun you with wide mouth. More often than not they are not that old and some of them are as young as if they just learn to walk.
However, most of the people are hardly able to be as talent as these marvelous genius, that means they have to work, think and pay time and effort to their career to succeed , accordingly I would believe contribution, efforts, plans and getting feet down to ground are much more important than talents. More importantly, do not mistake yourself for a talent without recognition unless you are really a talent that no one can deny the fact.
Think about Thomas Addison's saying:
A genius is made by 1% intelligence and 99% perspiration.
Do you think you are as talent as Thomas Addison?
Both qualities have the unmeasured investments of soul:) too say can't help but do.
