German has 3 genders for its nouns, either masculine (der), feminine (die), or neuter (das).
Aber... the word for "Child" is understandably neuter in German (das Kind).
Aber, the word for "girl"
(das Mädchen) is neuter, and so is "wife" (das Weib)
Hahaha, nice! I wish I could talk like I did when I was a kid and had classes at school...
The few things I can remember:
Ich hasse Barbara und ich bin dreizig und drei (years old). Heute ist Fritag (hahaha, because if today were Tuesday or Thursday I wouldn't remember how to say it).
I remember that one of the words that sounded more funny to me was "schlecht" (ugly).
I still remember once we read a story of a boy who lived in the woods and was trying to cheer up his mother that was feeling under the weather. To do so, he asked a lot of animals what he could do to make her feel better, then after asking lots of animals, that's what he should do:
Spitzmundvackelorenblinkelaugenschnupernazengesicht (sorry if it's misspelled).
Hahaha, I can't believe I remembered this sentence/word by heart after 20 years! Lol!
