Trying to do better in your English tests?

Hello friends! With school starting again, I know some of you guys are looking for ways to get better grades in English. So, here are a few tips I can give you.

When it comes to reading comprehensions, always read the QUESTIONS first. They will give you an idea of what the text will talk about and thus the text wont shock you when you begin reading it! When you start reading the text, use highlighters. Lots of highlighters! For example, when something in the text tells you something about the character(s), highlight it. When you read something that describes the setting, highlight it with a new colour and so on. This "tagging" system will allow you to make links with the text and reduces the time you need to answer a question as you have fundamental information highlighted.

This is one of many things you can do to maximise your grade in English, if you would like to know the other tips and tricks I have for tests, send me a message and we can start talking about it and I can tailor my ideas to the tests that are doing, for example la selectividad in Spain or the Abitur if you are from Germany to name but a few exam types!

Hope this helps,

All the best,
