Does it matter to have a latest mobile phone ? Why?/Why not?

No as most phones do all the same things just with maybe a new bigger screen and a new colour as adjustments, there might be like one new app or whatever installed on the newest phone brand but the new iPhone 7 that's in the works now will do the same that my current phone the iPhone 6 will do.

I think no. If my friends and family were not embarrassed, I would continue to use my old Nokia 3310 with the green screen..lol! However, because of the pace of technological advancement, the Internet and manufacturers wanting us to replace our mobile phones, it's becoming more and more difficult to use my Nokia.

You're absolutely right. Mobile phone industry is getting turned into a money trap unfortunately.
But this state took shape because of so many people who think this is the best way to show their classes.
Anyway, it is really nice to know that we have the same mentality about that :)

Dear Seth,
I agree up to a point, but I I'd rather an android phone which makes my life even easier than Nokia 3310 or so on, although I think I don't have to keep up pace with the technology.
Besides I agree with you apart from that which means that it shouldn't be a sign of prosperity at all.
