If you take 52 lessons a year, what option is better for improvement at the end of one year?
A) one lesson a week for a year
B) two lessons a week for 26 weeks
C) four lessons a week for 13 weeks
LearnerSC this is a good question. I don't know. I would guess A. The reason being is you have a teacher throughout the whole year as your guide and you have a large amount of spare time to consolidate your learning and correct faults. The crucial factor is what one does outside the classroom.
It quite depends on how much time you could spend after the lesson.
But for my opinion, at least two times per week, otherwise it is too slow to see the progress.
