All depends on  what you want to say. For instance the equivalent Wh-questions are:

What= Que     What you want to drink?  ¿Que te gustaria tomar?

When= Cuando   When we need to go? ¿Cuando (nosotros)  necesitamos ir?

How= Como    How can I ask questions in Spanish? ¿Como puedo hacer preguntas en Español?

Why= Por que   Why are you crying ?  ¿Por que estas llorando?

Where= Donde   Where we can meet?  ¿Donde (nosotros)  podriamos reunirnos?

Also, you can use the modal verbs such as

Can = poder  Can I help you?   ¿Puedo ayudarlo?

Could= poder - (Similarly as Can in interrogative sentences but more formal)   Could you help me?  ¿Podrias ayudarme?

May= poder- (In the same sense as Can and Could but much more formal)  May I help you? ¿Podria ayudarle?

Finally, you have two types of questions : Full and partial Questions

Full Questions can be answered with Yes or No,in this case, the case has the same structure as enunciative sentences but you use Question marks

In the speaking, you can see a difference in the pronunciation when asking questions

Partial Questions are those that cannot be answered with yes or no, in this case,  is necessary  use WH-questions

1. Puedo hablarte en español? (informal y uso del "tú")/ Puedo hablarle en español? (formal y uso de la tercera persona).

2. Que tal te fue el día?/ Cómo te ha ido el día? (si el día no ha terminado).

"Can I" is "puedo". So if you wanted to ask "Can I speak to you in spanish", You'd say, "¿Puedo hablar contigo en español?" So the breakdown is

Puedo = can I

Hablar = speak or talk

contigo = with you

en = in

Español = spanish
