hey, i applied for a phd position in canada before a month ago. The phd guy was replied (or replied?) to me and he wrote that he want to leave (he is leaving ??) for a vacation and he will come back on September. Than he will get in touch with me and he probably want to invite me for a little conversation on skype. Till now he didn't wrote for me, that position is too important for me and i need to known if he is still interested or remember me (??) and if he want to consider (??) my application.
so please, i need your help to compose a short and polite letter to remind him

I hope that you are well. I am writing to remind you of our discussion before you went on leave last month. I submitted an application for a PhD. It was just prior to you going on leave and you said that you would be in touch with me upon your return in September. Forgive me for bothering you, however I am keen to progress my application and wish to know if you are still considering me.
