Those you have owned may sometimes prevent you from gaining more.
Those you have owned may sometimes prevent you from gaining more. Once you owned something, you would treasure them and pay more attention to them. For instances, if you owned a good look, you might feel narcissistic and spend much more time in carefully dressing up yourself; if you owned a talent of music, you might soak yourself in singing or composing or something to do with music; if you owned much money, you might rack your brains to use it or protect it or make it more and more.
There are only 24 hours in a day and nobody has privilege for even an extra second. If you spend more time on this, you definitely spend less on that. And different time investments will lead to different consequences.
Don't misunderstand me. I am not meant to encourage everybody to abandon what you have owned. What's more, I am not against professionalization or concentration. However, if you are in traps of your owns and leading a fixed boring life, these words may remind you to struggle out.
