The phrasal verb that you are looking for is "to put up with ........." not "to put on with."

 "to put on," means either to wear some clothes or to fake something:

 

a) He put on his coat (means he picked up his coat and he wore it).

 b) The Englishman put on an American accent (means that the Englishman talked in an American accent even though he is not really American).

I completely agree with you.  If you don't put aside for a rainy day, then you won't have money for an emergency. Even if you do a PTC site then you can earn a little bit of money for clicking ads, if you save that money in the end you will have more than you started with!
