Can you explain for me what does "Could I do a little less admin and a bit more selling?" mean?

I understand the same as Cristina...in theory, the administrative department supports the sales guys on their main duty; to sell. If someone says it to me I would understand as: go out seeing customers, spend more time in front of customers than just staying on the Office doing administrative tasks.

It could be "could I be charged with more selling jobs (duties) than administrative ones?", couldn't it?
