こんにちは、私の名前はルーイーです。
I am a beginner in Japanese. I have learned all the kana and have started memorising kanji. I am good at learning the meaning associated with each Kanji but I am having trouble memorising the exact words the associated with them. Being to practice speaking would really help the vocabulary 'sink in'.
I can anyone advise on how to find a language partner? I myself am a university graduate in Drama, meaning I am suitable for teaching both elementary and more advanced English, including pronunciation.
I would greatly appreciate any advice!

こんいちわルーイーさん!
I'm not a native speaker as well and kanji was a nightmare for me, until I found this book called "Remembering the Kanji" by James W. Heisig and it's working like magic. He links each character with a story and an image that you can easily recall. Now learning kanji is so much fun, I've covered about 500 characters in about 5 weeks, and I have little trouble in remembering them or using them.
I highly recommend it!
