I am sure this has been asked lots of times before but I am very new with German and, since I listen to music all day at work, I thought it would be a good opportunity to listen to some German music. My thoughts are that the more I listen to the language, even in music form, the more my ear will get "tuned in" and used to the language.

Any genre would be great but I usually prefer rock, pop and laid back music. I have a couple of Sido songs on my playlist already but I am not sure who else I should try out.

The same goes for any series that can be recommended. I like most series, particularly animated ones. I was thinking of just trying to find normal, well known series and get the German version. What would you suggest? All I have seen so far is "ich bin eine Biene" on youtube hahahaha

I appreciate any and all suggestions! I have already tried googling but it didn't help as much as I hoped.
