I've been taking some German lessons and studying by myself but I've got problems in pronunciation and I need help in that....It's ok if you're not a teacher, I'm just looking for a native speaker to exchange message me if you want to.

Important : I'm not looking for a BF or anything like is a language website not a dating one! no BF no dating no bullshit please!

Oh, by the way.  I think Southern German sounds awful. If you want to learn really the best German pronunciation do as I did, then go to Northern German (like Hannover). I went to Braunschweig and it was great.

Good question and one rarely asked. Learning to overcome an accent is the domain of the study of LINGUISTICS, an entire study on its own. They don't teach linguists in a German language class, which is just the "repeat after me approach." Not only does that approach NOT work it actually causes accents. Every language has difference sounds in it others don't. Learning to identify those sounds and learning why your mouth makes those sounds and was trained to do so as an infant, and learning how the sounds of the target language differ, is the first step in overcoming an accent  it's hard word  but it can be done. Find a German teacher who is also trained in linguistics and have one-on-one lessons. The teacher must also know your native language otherwise it won't work.  It's hard to find people that are this qualified, but there around. And don't forget, your there to learn pronunciation, not the language  those are two different things. You can find an ordinary German teacher for the language part.

Hi Danny,

take that opportunity to adopt a sexy southern model of pronounciation! We make it easier for you and say kinesisch and Kemie. "BASF hat ein Kemiewerk in Kina".
