Spicy food helps depression a bit, according to studies. However, exercise, meditation and proper sleep are also very important.

When you are under high pressure over a long term, I do believe you had better improve the situations or change your mindset to fit in with local air more to ensure the high pressure would not be coming so often. But of course under some circumstances you can hardly  make ways out of the difficulty, eating food to make your happier might be a makeshift to eliminate the pressure.  Some foods can release your pressure but in a way that is a sort of accumulation of negative energy like junk foods into your body, which would probably become a huge burden to your health, so please be cautious of the temporal happiness by indulgent eating.

Eating a little delicious food is my opinion.

Stress bring stomachache to me due to my neurogenic gastritis, so I need a little tasty food to make me happy. Facts proved that it is good for me and my stomach. I dont like eating too much, a little may be fine. :)

Surely that is a sort of therapy to release your pressure swiftly when you are in highly distressed or under enormous pressure, while you must consider what you will pay for the transient joy after you measure your weight on the body weight scale.
