5 Reasons to Learn English

According to the Oxford Royale Academy, there's 10 top great reasons to learn English. Below are the top 5:

1.  English is one of the most widely spoken languages.

2.  English will open up more opportunities for you.

3.  English will make you more desirable to employers.

4.  English gives you access to some of the world's best universities.

5.  English is the language of some of the world's greatest literature.

English certainly is an international language, one that connects schools, businesses, and countries. Although it does not replace one's mother tongue, it certainly accomplishes a purpose in that it helps one to branch out academically and professionally.

If you are interested in improving your English, feel free to try out any of my courses. I teach beginners, intermediate learners, advanced learners, and those who just want to converse in English. As a bonus, I teach American Sign Language to those who are looking to have meaningful conversations with the deaf, or who just want to satisfy curiosity. You can request a course by visiting my profile page at I look forward to meeting you!

I checked the site out (couldn't curb my interest).

Yes, it was... English is the language of some of the world's greatest literature.

Obviously I don't have much to do tonight!!

You are brave to post something like this, Some may take it as IMPERIALISTIC, but yes speaking another langauge can open doors in general.  When I lived in Europe, knowing English just made me another brick in the wall because of the huge amount of people who study it.  Having a third language made me more marketable.

I don't think you even have to give us a reason to learn English. Everyone either on this website either speaks or is learning English. And English is so important that you don't have to convince anyone to learn it, everyone wants to learn English for many other reasons

Sorry, typo. It is indeed supposed to say "English is the language of some of the world's greatest literature."
