Hi everyone,
Just out of curiosity, how do you say "it's easy" in your language? I mean using idioms, the same like English "piece of cake" :)
Please let me know :)
In Poland we say "bułka z masłem" - roll with butter / buttered roll
I would like to know how to say it in different languages :) idioms are cool :D
Cheers,
You already know "It's a piece of cake." But you can also say, "It's as easy as pie."
And if you like math, calculating the area of a circle is as easy as pi r squared.
かんたんです! kantan desu!
Czesc Ewa,
In Danish we say: "Det er som at tage slik fra børn", ("It´s like taking candy from kids ", thing we would never do, of course, but we do say it)
En castellano argótico, se dice también : está chupado ( it´s licked)
In English also: It´s a walk in the park.
In French, also : "c´est du gâteau".
In Italian: è una passeggiata
Bardzo lubie "bułka z masłem" ! Could you maybe post a realistic example with this expression. Dzieki.
Pozdrawiam
In English we also say
It's child's play
It's as easy as falling off a log
Easy peasy lemon squeezy (childish but we sometimes use it between adults in a humorous way)
