I have usually heard it is better to create your own decks. 

Also, if you want to be able to actually speak the language, instead of just understand it, it is better to put the word in your native language on the front of the cards, so that you have to remember the word in your target language for the backside.  I learned this the way hard way.  I put the word in my target language on the front and then found many times I ¨know¨ the word in Anki because I can recognize what it means, but later when I want to say the word in conversation my memory failed me because I did not know it well enough to remember exactly all the sounds or spelling.
