Nr. 5 kommt mir allerdings etwas seltsam vor, was die Kausalität angeht. Sinnvoller wäre doch »die Katze schaut unter das Sofa, weil sie etwas sucht«, oder?
Und in Nr. 6: die Maus.
Notizbuch, Andrea, Notizbuch... :) Das ist so viel komfortabler, wenn es um's Korrigieren geht! Aber okay:
3 - Die Katze versucht den Fisch zu fressen. ("Fisch" is the direct object, so it takes the accusative)
5 - Die Katze sucht etwas, weil sie unter das Sofa schaut. (this is about direction, so it needs the accusative)
6 - This sentence is technically correct. However, we're funny about verbs like "stellen, setzen, sitzen, legen, liegen, etc.": if something is as close to the floor as a mouse, we wouldn't use the word "stehen", we'd use "sitzen". Come to think of it, you wouldn't say "the mouse is standing under the table" either, would you?
7 - It's either "Die Katze steht vor der Wand" (in front of the wall) or "Die Katze steht auf der Wand" (on the wall, supposing there is no ceiling or roof), because it's "die Wand", so the dative is "der Wand".
9 - Die Katze versucht auf das Sofa zu klettern.
