job interview

HOW can I not freak out during an Interview?

I get too nervous and say things in a stupid way at an interview

I tried mind-controlling, but It didn't work :(

Before the interview, take a few moments to try to imagine the interview going well in your head. Play the interview through like a scene in a movie. Imagine yourself being extremely confident, smiling and answering questions well. Imagine the interviewer smiling and nodding in agreement to your answers, etc.

Also, take deep breaths - this really helps relax not just your nerves but your whole body. When you start getting those negative thoughts in your head, label them. So instead of saying "I am so, so nervous right now. I'm going to mess up", say to yourself "I'm getting negative thoughts of being nervous right now. I am getting feelings of fear that I'm going to mess up." Labeling actually helps a lot with separating real feelings with just nervous (and often irrational) thoughts.

All the best! You're going to do great!

You need to know the "duties" of the job.

Those are usually written in the job description.

You must be prepared to answer a question about each of the duties.
Your answer must tell them about your experience doing those duties.

Hi there:-)

I know how you feel, a job interview can be very stressful. The most important thing is to relax as much as possible. You need to take care about your body language because people can see everything. Remember that you came there to show your qualities and try to point them out. Act like a person having a lot of self confidence and I think everything will turn out just fine.

Hope I helped :-)

Wish you the best job interview ever and of course to get the job :-)

Break a leg :-)

If you think the job matters a lot, you'll stress. If you think of it as just an interview and there are other jobs out there, you will be more calmn.
