Abdication of Nicholas II Today is the 100th anniversary of the abdication of Nicholas II.  Is this event being observed in any way in Russia?

Hey Ed I have a recommendation for you. On twitter, RT news has a very interesting feed about the 1917 Russian Revolution. They put out tweets as if the Revolution was talking place today and on a daily basis, and the main figures from that historic moment send tweets too describing their situation (Nicholas II, Lenin, Stalin, etc.) It´s fun to read and also you´ll find very interesting historic articles. You can check it out on twitter at (hashtag)  #1917LIVE and it doesn´t matter if you have a twitter account or not .

You piqued my curiosity) I'm not much into news, but according to google only one of news channels is aware of that)

However, this or more correctly next month's issue of Diletant (historical magazin) dedicated to Nicholas II and there are some materials on the website: http://diletant.media/

That's strange since it seems like such an important event historically.  He was the last tsar, and he was the last of 300 years of Romanov rule.
