Organization (skype)

Hi, I want to find a website with a collaborative planification. To find some agreement for have a conversation with skype with a foreigner. Because there is the time difference to take in account, so I search this to have a simple and effective organization.

I don't know if there exist, but if it don't exist I want to know how do you do with your partners to organize a conversation.

Thank you in advance ! :)

www.doodle.com Give it a try.

But if you have to set up and schedule a speaking session with one person, it is more suitable to do it in Skype or another messenger directly.

When I add someone to a IM software*, I put in their nickname the time difference we have (e.g. +1, or -7, and so on), and then always plan calls according to their timezone, doing the math as we text, then put it in my calendar.

Teachers use public Google Calendars, I've thought about it, maybe one day I'll set up one.

You can easily find the time difference by googling "[country] time". Watch out for daylight savings.

* So far mostly WeChat and Skype, which allow you to rename a contact

Corrected text:

Hi, I want to find a website with a collaborative planning feature* in order to find some {better: mutual} agreement for having a conversation on skype with a foreigner. Because there is the time difference to take into account, so I am searching for this feature in order to have a simple and effective organization.

I don't know if any there exists, but if it doesn't exist, then I want {better: would like} to know how do you do this with your partners to and organize a conversation.

*It's usually just called "calendar sharing" or "group calendar"

In my case, I exchanged messages with my partners and agree on a day and time every week. I find that this works best for regularity. Otherwise, it would be easy to keep procrastinating.

"planification" that is a rare and esoteric word in English, it is much better to use "planning". Actually "scheduling" has the meaning that you intend to use most accurately.

You can do it here on this site, but I think you may find the chats rather fruitless. Most people will not devote the effort necessary to improve their skills in a foreign language and abandon the chats after a short while.

But you can certainly try it. Just message the people who have expressed similar intents, share your Skype ID's, and chat at the scheduled hour.

One you share Skype ID's, you can chat via messaging or in real time, or have audio or video calls.
