Would you rather speak 20 languages fluently or be the best in the world at something of your choosing?

If I wanted to speak 20 languages I totally would. Few things are easier to learn than a language. Unfortunately, as much as I enjoy learning languages, speaking 20 of them would be perfectly useless. I'd rather be extremely good at something that can provide a good job.

Well, I guess if you are speaking 20 languages, then you will be the best in this. I mean you will be the person who can speak the highest number of languages. I don't think there is a human who can speak more than 20 languages so my choose would be definetely speaking 20 languages.

I'd go for speaking 20 languages fluently. I'm not interested in being best in anything.

Well, he is quite impressive but still you'd be one of the bestests. My choice wouldn't change though, even if I'm not the best.

Without hesitation, I'd choose to speak 20 languages fluently because I think learning languages is one of the best way to know about other cultures. It really helps to open minds about things we don't know and it allows to see the world with a completely new point of view. It is also proved by linguists and neurologists that learning languages keep the brain healthy for longer, so that's definitely my choice!
