We're living in the information age, so there are tons of information we need to process each day. I have many interests, so the amount of information I crave to process each day makes me disoriented and less focused on the task at hand. While I'm reading a book that refers to a concept or makes me think about another interesting question, I immediately search the question, but the new information leads to more information, and I forget about what's I'm reading the book. That does not include chatting with friends, listening to music, watching TV shows...I don't know whether multitasking is good or not, I want to do everything at the same time because they are very attrative.
It would be interesting to know how you deal with information overwhelming.Thanks.
