Having a teacher without having a lesson
I saw profiles where students have teachers but they had no lessons in their history . How it is possible to have a teacher without having a lesson ?

Another good ( and controversial ) question is why do many people state in their profile that they are native English speakers when it's easy to see they aren't?

If you make contact with a teacher, that member shows up as a teacher on your profile. A number of my colleagues and friends are shown as my "teachers", even though I've never taken lessons with them.

It is possible to bookmark teachers by selecting the heart-shaped button at the top of the profile. Therefore, even if a student has never booked a lesson or had any communication with the teacher, he/she will appear in one's list of teachers.
