Ideas or thoughts about which when learning your mother language you got When I learn English and French, I found it there may be inherent relationship or difference between them so I want to know if somebody else does. In other ways, I am happy someone can share the learning feeling and I'd like be a language partner with you.

Cantonese and Mandarin is my mother language, and I think there is almost no difference except for pronounce and some native slang.

Lately, I've been wondering if the similarity between English and French is anything like that between Cantonese and Mandarin. Do you have any thoughts on that yet?
