When it comes to Russian learning resources, you can never have too much variety. Try these free options next time you need a break from your usual routine!

These are wonderful options. Three great additional resources-- both from youtube. 


1. Youtube music videos. One of the most important parts of learning a language is to hear it-- frequently. Listen to Russian music-- even if you don't know what (most of) the words mean! If you go to youtube and search, for example, for Russian music mixes, you'll get lots of hits. Convert them to mp3's, and fill you iPod with them. Sing along--Повторение - мать обучения.

2. Russian blogs. Once you're at the intermediate level, they're great. 

3. Travel shows. My favorite is орел и решка.

Your article is very helpful, i myself am trying to learn Russian language. I am Indian student trying to get in to a Russian Uni for my further study. I am about the join an online course. It's a good idea right? Joining a certificate program. I also try learning by being in different language programs and involving in communities.

You can also watch your favorite shows/movies that you know well in russian or with russian subtitles. At least that was my way to learn english)
